Hendrick Sponsorship Supports CMS Middle School Sports

A $250,000 sponsorship agreement with Hendrick Automotive Group will allow Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to offer a complete program of middle school sports for the 2011-12 academic year. CMS will use the sponsorship money to help pay coaching stipends, fees for officials and transportation costs for middle school athletics.

Hendrick Performance Website Launched

Have you seen the new http://www.hendrickperformance.com/ website? It just launched and it's a fantastic site. There are complete photo presentations on approximately forty classic cars such as: Chevrolet Corvette, Pontiac Trans Am, Pontiac Lemans, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Camaro, Oldsmobile 442, Buick Gran Sport, Chevrolet Chevelle and other exotic and collectible classic cars.

Hendrick Happenings - Dealerships and Racing

Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrickcars.com congratulate the Lowes No. 48 team on their Sprint Cup win. What an amazing accomplishment to capture a 5th consecutive win. Hendrick Motorsports now is NASCAR's all-time leader in NASCAR Sprint Cup owner championships with 10 after Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet team earned their fifth consecutive series title at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Hendrick Motorsports previously was tied with Petty Enterprises, which earned nine Cup owner championships.

As Hendrick Motorsports adds the wins, Hendrick Automotive Group continues to add dealerships. In October Lexus of Charleston and Toyota of North Charleston became part of the group. Then on November 16th, Palmetto Hyundai joined the group and was renamed Hendrick Hyundai North. On December 1, the group  purchased McElveen Hyundai and renamed it Hendrick Hyundai. All four of these dealership acquisitions are in the Charleston, SC market.

In September, Hendrickcars.com added http://www.corvettesandcamaros.com/ to it's on-line portal. This new site frequently presents over 500 new and pre-owned Corvettes and Camaros to on-line visitors. Most new Corvettes and Camaros have actual photos of the units and pre-owned listings frequently have over 30 photos and up to 100. Many of the pre-owned Corvettes and Camaros are GM Certified vehicles with a 5 year/100K mile powertrain warranty (from original in service date) and a 12 month/12K mile comprehensive warranty from date of purchase.

Hendrickcars.com joins Soccer Association as Sponsor


The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has entered into an agreement with HendrickCars.com -- a division of Hendrick Automotive Group -- that makes the growing online pre-owned vehicle website the title sponsor of the NSCAA’s extensive national rankings program for all levels of men’s and women’s intercollegiate play. The program will be known as the NSCAA/HendrickCars.com National Rankings.
